Puppy Training
Give your puppy the best start with foundational obedience and behavior training. This program focuses on building good habits, clear communication, and a strong bond between you and your dog.
Training Includes:
Basic Obedience: Controlled leash walking (walk at your pace, stay on one side, no pulling or crossing, no reacting to other dogs, animals, or people).
Basic Commands: Heel/Auto Sit, Sit/Stay, Stand/Stay, Down/Stay, Place, Wait, Leave It, Doorway Enter/Exit, Emergency Stop, and House breaking.
Behavior Modification: Addressing unwanted behaviors such as biting, chewing, excessive barking, jumping on people, digging, counter surfing, stealing food, going through trash, mounting, door crashing, fence jumping, and car sickness.
Basic Family Pet Training
“Better Manners, Happier Home”
This program focuses on establishing strong obedience skills and good manners for your family dog, helping build a positive relationship between you and your pet. Training is customized to fit your dog’s personality and your household environment.
Training Includes:
Basic Obedience: Controlled leash walking—teaching your dog to walk at your pace, stay on one side, avoid crossing in front of you, and remain calm without pulling or reacting to other dogs, animals, or people.
Basic Commands: Heel/Auto Sit, Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, Place, Come, Wait, Leave It, Doorway Enter/Exit, Emergency Stop, and Housebreaking.
Behavior Modification: Addressing unwanted behaviors such as biting, chewing, excessive barking, jumping on people, digging, counter/table surfing, stealing food, getting into trash, mounting, door crashing, fence jumping, and car sickness.
Eco’ Training – “Refresher Course”
Designed for dogs who have previously completed training, this short refresher course helps reinforce learned commands, rebuild consistency, and fine-tune obedience skills. It’s perfect for dogs who need a quick confidence boost or a reminder of proper manners.
Training Includes:
Review and reinforcement of Basic Obedience commands
Correction of minor behavioral issues or lapses in consistency
Focus and engagement exercises to refresh attention and responsiveness
Children and Dogs
“Building Safe & Kind Bonds”
This session teaches children how to safely and respectfully interact with dogs, helping build trust, confidence, and positive relationships between young family members and their pets.
Training Includes:
Guidance on safe and gentle pet handling
Understanding canine body language and boundaries
Encouraging kindness, respect, and confidence around dogs
Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Certificate
“My Best Friend”
The Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program helps dogs develop the confidence and manners needed to be well-behaved companions in public and at home. This course prepares dogs to pass the official CGC Test by reinforcing reliability, focus, and calm behavior in real-world settings.
Training Includes:
Advanced Obedience in Moderately Distracting Environments: Training takes place in dog-friendly stores, pedestrian areas, and other moderately busy environments.
Dogs learn to: Respond immediately to their name and commands. Stay in designated areas. Enter and exit public buildings calmly. Walk politely through crowds. Ride escalators and elevators confidently. Additional socialization and obedience exercises are included to meet CGC certification standards.
Therapy Dog Training
“Comfort & Compassion”
Therapy Dogs and their handlers are volunteers who visit hospitals, schools, hospices, nursing homes, libraries, and other facilities to bring comfort, affection, and joy to people in need. Dogs in this program must have a naturally social and calm temperament.
Program Requirements:
Prior completion of Obedience Training
Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test readiness
Socialization and Desensitization Exercises to help dogs remain calm around loud noises, medical equipment, and crowds
Emotional Support Animal (ESA) Training
An Emotional Support Dog provides emotional, mental, or psychological comfort to help individuals manage life challenges such as anxiety, panic attacks, and stress. Before beginning this program, dogs must have completed and maintained Basic Obedience, as well as proper Socialization and House Training.
Training Includes:
Advanced Obedience in Moderately Distracting Environments: Training takes place in dog-friendly stores, pedestrian areas, and other moderately busy environments.
Dogs learn to: Respond promptly to their name and commands despite distractions. Stay in designated areas. Comfortably enter and exit public buildings. Walk calmly through crowds. Ride escalators and elevators confidently.
“You & Me, All American”
Service Dog Training
Service Dogs are highly trained to assist individuals with physical or psychiatric disabilities, enhancing independence, safety, and overall quality of life. Training focuses on equipping each dog with the skills necessary to perform daily tasks tailored to their handler’s specific needs.
Training Includes:
Obedience Training: Building a reliable foundation of commands and control.
Public Access Training: Teaching dogs to behave appropriately in all public settings.
Task-Specific Training: Custom-tailored to the handler’s physical or psychiatric needs.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Service Dogs and their handlers are granted “All Access” to public spaces, venues, and facilities.
