Hi, my name is Edina Jacox. I started training dogs back in 2016 during college. It was a part of my Captive Wildlife Care and Education degree and I absolutely fell in love with it. After graduation I got my dog training certification through Animal Behavior College. In addition to my dog training certification I also became an AKC evaluator in 2022. I am a positive reinforcement only trainer. This means that I don't use any abrasive equipment or methods during lessons. All lessons with me will be fear free and force free, guaranteeing that your pup will be comfortable, engaged and enjoying their lesson the entire time. My areas of expertise include: basic and advanced obedience, puppy training, basic trick training,Canine Good Citizen test prep/testing, AKC S.T.A.R puppy test prep/ testing and mild/moderate reactivity. My goal with lessons is not only to teach the dogs, but to also educate the owner on proper techniques and handling. This is to ensure that they are able to build a training relationship with their pup based on mutual respect and understanding.
