Hello, my name is Steven Valtierra, and I am a Trainer with The Pawfect Friend. I have nearly 20 years of experience working with dogs of all ages and breeds, specializing in Puppy Training, Basic Obedience, Clicker Training, and Crate Training.

I believe it’s essential to teach dogs basic manners, while also focusing on bonding and socialization. Growing up, my family always had dogs, and my passion for animals has continued to grow with every new opportunity to train and help them thrive.

In addition to basic training, I offer specialized programs for Comfort, Therapy, and Service Dogs, as well as Behavior Modification for dogs dealing with issues such as anxiety or aggression. Training can be conducted on-site at The Pawfect Friend or through private, in-home sessions upon request.

At The Pawfect Friend, my goal is to provide kind, professional, and effective training while also educating owners on how to best care for and communicate with their dogs. Teaching your dog basic obedience builds a foundation for a safe, happy, and fulfilling relationship for you and your family.
